Objective

For 40 years, Prince was the leader and innovator in the world of tennis equipment. But after rapid global expansion and subsequent supply chain issues, market share was slipping to other tennis brands – resulting in a sudden brand identity crisis and the need for a new strategy.

Strategy

Turnpost worked with Prince on a set of strategic updates designed to modernize the brand, retire campaigns and programs that were diluting their efforts, return them to a research-driven model and once again position Prince as an innovator and game changer.

Outcome

Since then, the brand has reestablished itself as an industry leader, blowing the doors off big box and online reseller channels, and reviving its high-end following with a strong pro-shop presence and premium pricing to match.
